1V1 DEFENDING (FACE TO FACE)
PRACTISE 1:
- WORK ON 1V1 DEFENDING FACE TO FACE. GETTING TOUCH TIGHT, PRESSING HIGH.
HOW WE PLAY
-DRIBBLE THROUGH EITHER RED OR BLUE GATE. AND THEN TRY AND GET THROUGH THE TOUGHEST GATE.
- OUT OF POSSESSION, CAN YOU WIN IT, FREE IT TO TEAMMATE OTHER SIDE. THIS THEN STARTS THE PRACTISE AGAIN AND A NEW PRESSER STARTS.
PRACTISE 2:
-WORK ON DOING BOTH, CAN THE PLAYER DO THE BALL AND THE MAN BEHIND THEM
HOW WE PLAY:
-IN POSSESSION, RED STARTS WITH THE BALL, THEY CAN PASS OVER THE LINE OR DRIBBLE AND DRIVE OVER THE LINE TO SCORE
-OUT OF POSSESSION, CAN THE PLAYER SCAN AND SCREEN THE POTENTIAL PASS WHILST ALSO APPLYING PRESSURE.
-THIS CAN BE DONE THROUGH ANGLE, BODY SHAPE AND CHECKING

HOW WE PLAY:
-PITCH SPLIT INTO THIRDS

-WIN THE BALL AND SCORE WITHIN 8 SECONDS.
IF PLAYERS WIN IT HIGH THEY ARE ENTICED TO DO SO WITH REWARDS SUCH AS:
-CHOOSING THEIR OWN CONSTRAINT FOR THE GAME
-OTHER TEAM ARE ON TWO TOUCHES
-THEY CAN ENFORCE AN UNDER/OVER LOAD. (TRANSFERS)
-NO KEEPER FOR OTHER TEAM
-NO OFFSIDES FOR THAT TEAM
-PICK A PLAYER WHO CAN ONLY SCORE FOR OPPOSITION.
