Dribbling w/Speed & Control
Controlled dribble into Sprinting dribble transition into contolled dribble cut & explode away
Coaching Points: Touch ball as much as possible during controlled dribbling, touch as least as possible at speed, address how to transition from sprinting to controlled dribble (Sprinting Dribble into 1v1) using an in between (Inside touch to each foot) to slow up
-Touch into space and chase
-Limited touches increases speed
-Controlled touches can be fast with small touches

Recieving to Play Foward (15 min)
Set Up: As seen in diagram (cones or poles can be used instead of mannaquins)
Play starts at A and B. Players pass in the arrowed direction and follow their pass. Players on the mannaquins start touch tight and check off the mannaquin to receive on the BACK foot. They then quickly pass in the arrowed direction, following their pass.
Try to have 3 balls moving at all times (start with 2)
Progression 1: Teach players to scan forward prior to receiving a pass.
Progression 2: At A and B players can play a double pass and wall pass with the receiver who then plays to the mannaquin. (not illustrated)
Progression 3: Players on mannquins choose to receive of the back foot/front foot, infront or behind the mannaquin.
Coaching Points:
1. Weight of pass.
2. Checking off the mannaquin.
3. Receive on the half turn on the back foot.
4. Scanning.

8 v 4 posession game (15 min)
Teams play 2 min ea, 1 point per 5 touches, bumpers are neutral, teams with most points stay inside
Progression: 10 touches for 1 point, reduce grid to 10 x 10
Coaching Points: Offer angles of support, communicate, gets balls to wide players to create space

Switch groups ea 2 min or 2 goals
Restrictions: 5 touches before shooting
Progression to 6 v 6 no restrictions (15 min)

Area A: Bands on Ankles - Star Jumps, Lateral Shuffles, Lunges
Area B: Bands on knees - Out in Out dots, Lateral Shuffles ea way, Toe Taps (Two feet forward & back over the line), Shuffles (Forward & back foot switch)
Area C: Bands on knees
- High knees to foward sprint to jumps to finishing
- Lateral Shuffles ea way to reverse/foward sprints to jumps to finishing
- Remove bands & perform 3 sets of each again
Coaching Points: Keep feet shoulder with, Stayed balance, Pump arms
