Set Up:
10 x 20 yrd grid
2 targets
2 groups of 2 players, one ball per group
Set up 2 grids, side by side, for more repetitions
Instructions:
1-Players pass ball, 1 touch in pairs
2-Coach blows whistle, players with ball proceed to attack opposite target and begin 1v1
Progressions:
1st player to score, runs back to help defend original target and transition to score again
1st player to scroe , runs back to create 2v1 on original target

Instructions:
20x20 yrd Grid, 2 areas set up with 3 teams. Adjust size and numbers for suitability
Ball is played into one square, 1 defending players attack the area.
Attacking team must complete 3 passes before switching ball to opposite area.
1 defender leaves one area and second defender enters opposite square after the switch is complete
alternate teams every 3 to 4 minutes.
Progressions:
Increase number of passes needed to be completed
Decrease attacking team numbers

Field Preparation:
- Players (2v2 plus 4 target players)
- 2 goals with GKs
- Area 25x20 or available space
- Cones or Flag polies gor goals / targets
- Supply of balls and bibs
Coaching Pointers/Organization/Implementation:
- Play 2v2 inside with 2 attacking target players for each team. Positioned target players on either side of the goal, as in the diagram above. GKs are placed in both goals. The objective of the game is to create numerous attacking opportunities by thinking and playing forward as quickly as possible. Attacks have to be played off the target player before you can score. Swap the target players regularly.
Focus on:
- Accuracy over power when shooting
- Quickness of transition from offense to defense
- Thinking forward, looking forward, playing forward, penetration
- GKs shot stopping & distribution

ORGANIZATION:
50 x 60yd (Halfway Line) Playing Area. 7v7. Include Goalkeepers. Use different formations for each team. White - 1-2-3-1, and Black - 1-3-2-1. Place extra balls on outside of grid for easy access
One team wears white bibs, opposing team wears black bibs. GK for White wears a Red Bib, and GK for Black wears a Green Bib. Set up 2 goals at each end as the targets.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Try to score more goals than the opposing team in the alotted game time.
Any ball out of play restarts with a kick in. No Offsides.
Balls out of play at the end lines, will restart will the GK playing it in.
COACHING POINTS:
Freeplay. Encourage teams to keep shape and consolidate the coaching points from throughout the session.

ORGANIZATION:
All 12 players are in the centre half circle (or equivalant size if circle not available for use)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Each Player has a ball, Moving around the circle. Challenge is to achieve as many touches as possible on the ball in 5 to 10 mins, depending on alotted. Use ball skills from previous sessions:
(scissors, step overs, chucks, V Pulls, L Pulls, drags, pull backs, turns, cuts, maradona, cruyf, inside/outsides, switch ball, keep ups, rollies.....combine 2 moves at one time,....etc)
OBJECTIVE
Warm up of technical skill and flexibility / mobility
Increase heart rate
