Soccer Coordination - Ball Familiarity
Organization:
- Players Dribble freely inside 30x30 area
Procedure:
- Players are asked to express themselves and be creative by attacking space and showing different moves. On coaches command players will perform different touches on the ball i.e. toe taps
Ideas:
- Coach can also play "body ball" with the players. When the coach calls out a part of the body the players must stop the ball with their foot first and then touch the ball with that part of the body. i.e. coach can say multiple body parts - foot, toe, finger, bum, nose etc. The coach can choose to speed things up to keep things fun and the players active.
- Coach can also play the "numbers game" with the players. When the coach calls out a certain number the players must organize in groups of that many players i.e. coach calls out "2" then 2 players must get together. The last group of players to organize has to do 10 toe taps etc.

General Movements
Organization
- Players are placed into pairs in a 25x25 area
Procedure
- 1 player becomes the leader and the 2nd player becomes the follower. Encourage the players to use different movements such as walking, running, jumping, rolling, running backwards and also sideways. After 30 seconds players switch.
Progression
- Each player has a ball

Soccer Coordination - Passing & Receiving
Passing & Moving
Organization:
- Players pass and move inside area. Focus should be on how the player passes and receives the ball.
Progression:
- To make it fun/competitive for the players add gates into the area and on the command of "SHOPPING" players look to pass the ball through the gates. Each gate = 1 point. After 60 seconds pair with the most points wins the competition. Repear game several times.

Organization: Players are set up as shown above in a 15x30m area. 4 players start in each corner and 1 player starts in each goal.
Procedure: The first player in each line dribbles towards the cone. As they get to the cone they turn around the cone and have a strike at goal. Once they have had their shot they replace the GK and the GK joins the shooting line. As soon as the player has finished shooting the next player starts to dribble. This should be done quickly to provide lots of shots. Progress by moving the cones to the opposite side to allow players to shoot with the opposite foot.

Organization: Players are placed inside a 15x15m area, each with a ball.
Procedure: Players dribble around inside the area, when the coach calls "GO" players have to keep control of their ball and attempt to knock other players' balls outside of the area with their foot. If a player's ball goes outside of the area they have to run and collect their ball and perform 20 toe taps (or a skill that the coach chooses). Once completed they are back in the game. If you are the last player inside the area you are "Queen of the Ring".
