Encouraging players to possess the ball out of the back in order to advance the ball forward. Movement off the ball to give players options to pass is also very important.

6v3 Rondo; Pending numbers you can make 7v3 or 8v4.
Team in Possesion (Red): 6 consecutive passes = 1pt
Every pass that leads to a split = 1pt
Defending Team (Yellow): Scores in small goal = 2 pts
Coaching Points:
-Movement off the ball
- Receiving across the body/half turn
- Opening hips to the field
- If you put two eyes on the ball; can the ball see you?

If the ball goes out of bounds the 3 defenders must get off the field for the next three defenders in line to get off the field. Defending team (yellow) tries to press the team in possesion (red). If the defending team wins the ball they trie to score in the goal. The team possession always restarts with the ball in the goalkeepers hands and they try to score in the pugg goals.
Coaching Points:
- Positioning body to receive and pass forward
- Looking for splits between defenders to break lines
- Firm passes to feet/correct technique

Same concept as the last game, but more players and bigger space. The defenders stay on for 2 minutes and then the next four defenders press for 2 minutes. Then teams switch. You can adjust minutes accordingly.
Team in possession tries to score in the small goal. Team defending tries to press and score in the big goal. Every time the ball goes out it starts with the GK. If too many players try to dribble there way out, you can add a touch restriction.
Coaching Points:
- Spacing and movement so that we can advance the ball forward
- If no forward options; look to switch quickly.
- Recognize where space/defenders are to know where the ball needs to go next.

Play 7v7, 8v8 or 9v9 depending on numbers.
Coaching Points:
- Are we looking to find passing options out of the back
- Force goalies to roll or throw; add in build out line where necessary to encourage building.
- Go over team shape/positional responsibilites.

Technical Warmup - 6 cone passing
Always follow your Pass. You can start with one ball, so everyone can see the pattern and build in to 2.
You must have 8 players per grid. If extras just throw them either behind the cone where the ball starts or 2 players on a cone.
Coaching Points:
- Receive the ball across body to play on an angle.
- Good firm passes to feet
- Staying on our toes
- Proper passing technique
