6 vs 6 vs 6 +2 gk's
block and transition game.
1 team defends the middle zone while 2 of their players press the ball. if they win the ball back they can shoot and score. this will trigger a transition. the team that lost the ball must now defend the middle zone and 2 of their players must now press the ball.
posession teams objectives. using 2 touches only they must beat the press and break down the midfield block by trying to manipulate the defending teams shpe with various passes. points are scored by playing balls to the other team through the middle zone below waist height and untouched.all players on the posession team must touch theball before they can attempt a through ball.
difficulity will increase if the objective is too easily met. eg more passes for the team and or minimum amount of touches for the gk.

2 touch 7 vs 7 game. control the middle of the pitch by being aware of the with and depth of the zone they're blocking passes through. only 2 players can leave the midfield zone at at time. this encourages compactness when blocking the midfield.
yellow objective. pass the ball to strikers feet to score. 1 touch finish. then transition to block the midfield after every goal or goal attempt.
Warm-up: Rondo (10 mins)
Organization:
8 to 10 players in each group
Attackers to defenders ratio at 3:1
Attackers on outer perimeter in a circle and defenders in the centre
No cones are needed but don't let attackers play too wide
Instruction:
The attackers keep possession for as long as possible.
A defender will switch positions with the attacker who lost possession.
Possession loss includes bad passes and the ball straying too far because of poor receiving.
Coaching Points:
High Tempo to get warm
Don't stop play to coach.
All players need to get a chance to defend to get warm.
Encourage players to take up centre mid position to keep possession as this will allow perimeter players to move as well.
Circle should not be too wide as we are looking for quicker movements from defenders, changing directions quickly, and improving agility, balace, coordination, and speed.
