- Still intercepting principles
- Cannot tackle when player has the ball with the intention to pass
- Once an interception has been made and the team wants to attack by dribbling through one o the two gates at either corner the opposing team is allowed to tackle.
- can tackle when opposing team is making a counter attack and player is dribbling
Players once won the ball have 3 options
- Long pass out wide to a player on either wing
- Short passing to get out of space
- dribbling forward once space is created
Rather than hitting the ball long without a second thought, players must try to think of their next best possible move
