Learning accents:
- Playing corners
- Zone switching
- One & two-touch passing
Organization:
- Player starts: 5
- Ball starts: 1
- Turnaround: A > B > C > D > E > A
A passes ball to B. B gets in front of cone, controls ball and passes to C. C gets in front of cone, controls ball and passes to D. D gets in front of cone, controls ball and passes to E. E gets in front of cone, and tries to score by one-touch pass.
Tips:
- Speed is of the essence. Especially players B, C and D should stay low during taking and passing balls, and try to use an open take at all times.
- If there are too few players, ignore position E. A offers him/herself to D instead by first rounding cone X and then running to cone E. Turnaround then becomes: A > B > C > D > A. D should be cautious when traversing to A (check screen 2).
Differentation:
- Perform exercise mirrored-wise
- Increase / decrease distance between cones
- Place obstacles around the circle
- Train accuracy by placing gates (blue cones)
