Pass and Move circle (control focus)

This is a lovely control Drill which works on control/pass and light cardio

Equipment is minimal which is great for pre match or when you don't have a large area to work in

4 flats, 4 Blue Bibs, 4 Red Bibs,  Two Yellow Bibs , Balls around area

Players will stand on the outside of the center circle or if not available flats will be placed at 3/6/9/12 like a clock and players fan out around in a circle

Players have to pass randomly across circle following their pass

Whilst understanding the mechanics of control

if a defender wins or intercepts the ball they swap with that player

2 min on and change if not intercepted

1. stay on toes

2. eyes on ball

3. in line with the ball

4. present area used to control (feet to start)

5. Relax on impact (cushion the ball)

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

Pass constraints (weak foot pass gets extra points)

players have to control with other areas of foot (outside/trap/sole/laces(if in air)
