Partner Passing:
Place cones 5-7 yards apart with players facing each other in partners, one ball per pair. Start with passing and receiving same foot -- use inside of foot to pass (ankle locked, toe pointed up, strike through centre of ball, make eye contact, put name on pass, look at ball off of foot when passing, follow through, hips point in direction of pass, weight of pass).
Receiver: play on balls of feet, receive with inside of foot, positive first touch.
With right foot and then with left foot.
Introduce receiving on one foot, passing with other.
Saying bump, bump.
Progress to bump, bump, bump to switch direction.
Progress to receiving across body. Take step back from cone, draw square with passes. How many in one minute without messing up. Switch direction of passing and receiving. Progress to one direction, switch direction on command.
More progressions: One player plays down the line, one player plays between the cones; Receive with outside of foot, pass back with inside of same foot; Use two balls and keep them going by receiving one foot and passing with other.

Bowtie Drill:
Pass and move exercise.
Balls start in diagonal corners (two balls at once);
Pass in to centre player, who receives and passes out to other corner player, corner player receives and passes straight to teammate on other side to continue pattern (all players follow pass and move to next position).
Progression:
1. Have a white ball and yellow ball -- central player is only allowed one touch to pass out to corner player with yellow ball and two touches to pass out with white ball.
Coaching points:
Recognize ball using and touches allowed;
Where to pass ball to encourage one or two touches;
Where to position your body in relation to corner player receiving off and playing to (half turn/see both);
When to move toward pass that is played in front (allows space to play on one touch);
Weight of pass;
Body shape;
Can we play on two touch or less;
Movement after pass.
Duration: 15 minutes.

End-to-End Possession Game:
Two teams equally divided;
To score, team must play to outside player;
Once played to the outside player, the player who passes the ball changes and becomes the outside player;
Once going one way, must score at the opposite end.
Coaching points:
Dispersal;
Half turn;
Technique;
Rotation;
Decision-making.
Duration: 15 minutes.
