Session Objective- Can players understand the Importance of special awareness when the haven't got the ball.
Learning objective- 1- can players use effective movement to help there team-mate on the ball.
2. Can the players understand when's the best time to pass the ball.

Activity 1- Passing and receving techniques
Half the group will stand on the outside of the grid, the other half will be on the inside working with a ball.
The players inside the grid will be dribbling and trying to find an open player whos on the outside of the grid.
The player will pass it and the outside player will immediatly pass the ball back to the player.
The players on the inside will be working on there passing techniques and receving techniques, after a few minutes the players will switch positions. Passing techniques to look out for are such: using there inside, outside, laces, the sole and a backheel, players will be encouraged to use a variety of these techniques.
Receving techniques that the players should be doing is: Checking there shoulder before receving the pass, opening there body stance, can they receive the ball on the back foot.
Variations- once all the players have shown good understanding in these techniques, the coach will add a defender to try and block passes etc, can the players react to the defender and still make a successful pass.

Activity 2- Small sided game
3v3 or 4v4, teams devided into to two teams and the coach will be looking for whether the players and use all the passing and receiving techniques learnt in the previous activity.
Players will also be wanting to look for open space and as soon as they get into any avalible space start becoming more vocal towards there team-mate in wanting the ball.
