1-4-4-1-1
We must be a solid defensive unit when out of possession. As a unit we must press wherever the ball is.
Note: If the closest player to the ball applies pressure to an opponent, the rest of the unit will cover and provide balance. Our players must always attempt to match up opponents to block passing lanes and shooting opportunities.

We need to use the width and length of the pitch. Our players need to displace the opponent to create space in between the defensive lines and half spaces. The goal of playing out from the back is to progress together to the middle third (Zone 2). Midfield must rotate diamond/box to create angles proactively!
Note: Every player needs to scan at all times. Our players need to be alert and identify the movement of the opponent and our teammates. It's important to play positionally and circulate the ball with quality. If we experience high pressing, our Goal Player (GK) can play long precise ball to our midfield in the half spaces.

Once we've reached the middle third, one of our center backs will join our holding midfield to create a box midfield, leaving our two fullbacks and remaining center back a back three. Our midfield will make up a dynamic Box/Diamond (stretching and rotating) to create superiority in the central channels. This will allow one of our wingers to be dynamic and help us create width and depth for additional support.
Important: Fullbacks must read and understand the game to consistently position and reposition themselves in attack and defense (The full backs and remaining center back need to create a back three in possession).

1-3-4-3 (Box/Diamond)
Important: Midfield will create Box/Diamond shape and rotate it in possession for more flexibility and passing opportunities through central channels.

Our corners must be aimed towards the far post. Our attackers must be ready to make the run into the zones close to the far post. Our attackers must start the run from the edge of the box to make the attacking corner kick unpredictable and more dynamic.
Note: One of our tallest player pin the opponent's goal player to block his view. No foul.
