Organisation : Same sliding Rondo dril las Screen 1, however groups can slide into any open square, utilising speed, vision and the ability to change direction quickly.
Instructions: Players form circle to create passing pattern.
You can stand outside the grid a foot or so but the idea is to keep the circle shape and not make the circle larger. Create 2 grids side by side.
Key Points & Objectives:
Players look to complete 4-5 passes and then play their teammates into the open grid. The group at the point all has to run into the open grid following the pass. End line players always stay, allowing for last pass long. Once they get into the next grid they can regain the shape of the circle and look to complete 4-5 passes again before sending ball into the open grid. The players in possession can make more than four passes in the same grid but they can’t play in the open grid before four passes are completed. You can change the number of passes and players to adjust for skill level.
