Screen 1

1)Player with ball starts practise. Player in middle and server play 5 one touch passes between them. 2)Player on mannequin then checks off at 45 degrees either side, a late but quick movement to create space for themselves to take the ball back foot.

3)The player on the top pole must make an opposite movement to other disc, so the player in the middle can play a 45 degree pass to the outside of the cone the top player moves to. So, if the player in middle moves off to left of mannequin, the top player moves to the right cone to receive the next pass.

4) Player in middle takes ball back foot, and plays hard pass to outside of disk where top player has moved to.

5) Player sprints after the ball and plays 2 wall passes with the top player either side of the disk.

6) Player then takes the ball with big touch across to opposite disc, performs a turn and then passes ball back to server who started practise. Work 5 plays in 1 set.

Working on - Pass accuracy, weight/direction/speed of passes, triggers for players to create space to receive passes, taking ball back foot, angle of touches, angle of run to support ball after pass, body position, quick play, quick feet to take ball away from pressure.
