4 Corners Dribbling with Shot (10 mins)

Warm Up - Four Corners Dribble with Shot at the Ball

Set up - The Above shows set up for groups of 20 , one group 1/3 rest period in terms of players, the second group only has 1/2 rest so need to take a little rest in between.  

All four players step up to the edge of the square (cone) all other players stand the back up cone out of the way of the dribbling players. On the coaches shout, all 4 corners (players) dribbling around the square behind the cones and back to there starting spot as quick as they can when they get back they get to take a shot at the ball, the player who hits the ball first wins.

Progression: Make it a team race with every player having there own ball, team that finishes first with most successful shots at the ball wins.

Coaching Points - Lift head when dribbling (see ball and what's ahead), Controlled big touches to get to you target cone faster, smaller touches as you approach cones so you can turn corners quickly and with ball under control. Encourage players to dribble faster the more control they have the ball, if ball not under control slow them down. We want fast controlled dribbling.

Have as many pitches as needed to get max out of players, if extra players have one of the games 1v1, 2v2 etc to give variety and keep all players active.
