Dribbling Warm-up (5 mins)

Organization:

Every player with a ball. if not enough 2 players  1 ball

Level 1 - Cryuff - Stepovers - Sole rolls - V -drag

Part of the warm up, given the age and there physical development the aim isto provide maximum contact on the Ball to enhance development of technical abilityfor their key learning age (LTAD). For given session will link nicely to Skillsession we will conduct later.

Contraints 

Area designed in a way that forces changes of direction and movement which will assit with warm up target. only instruction here is can you remain inside area without collisions with other players but perform any move you like.

Try to individually ask a player if he can show the rest of the group a skill to perform. Coach ask player (away from rest) first to ensure that they are comfortable doing so recognising the Psychosocial element

Game Principle


Understand when and how to combine, create and finish when attacking the final third. 

Build on the theme from 14 th September overloads out wide, and the effective movement in box, Now can we create cut back for arriving CM.

Organisation

Half pitch practise tapered off at top end 

8 (2 Wide wingers rotate. plus GK BLUE in possession 

6 plus GK RED out of possession

Black player in floater

Attacking wide areas split into three boxes. Visualisation to help attacking players.

Explanation

In possession BLUE team will start with the ball on each restart. Looking to score in the big goal with highlighting the importance of attacking through wide areas. 

Black floater will play for the team in possession. 

RED team out of possession will look to score in the goal on half way line upon winning posssesion. They only a maximum of 8 seconds to score. 

Extra goal for scoring in wide channel

The coloured areas in wide channels will help players understand how the scenario changes the type of cross needed. 

BLUE area - Chip back post, bent cross, early cross. Decision on type of cross depending on players positioning off the ball.

Shaded area - Chip back post, set back to supporting player. 

Green area - Pull back, low driven.

What ifs

Blue back 4 sitting in, how break down? - Look to get the 9 - 10 on ball in-between the line and there 1sy touch acts as a trigger for the 11 - 7 to come off the line and attack the space in behind the back 4.

Blues are pressing high - Look to move the ball quickly and look for the spare man. Utilizing the width created by the 11 - 7 can we look to break lines over the press
