First team to build a Christmas tree.
Focusing on first time dribbling, first time shot & weight of pass.
Starting positions:
1: Goalkeeper
2: One player in position #3
3: Remaining players in position #1
Running the drill:
1: Player to dribble through blue cones
2: Player to communicate with player based in position #3 and confirm if pass should be received within yellow line (2A) or red box (2B)
3: Player to perform 1-2 and obtain position
4: Player to perform a first time shot
5: If a goal is scored, a player earns a cone from #4
6: Player who made the shot to move position to #3 and later perform the pass
7: Player who made the pass from position #3 to move to position #1
8 & ongoing, rotate/reset
Aim: 9 cones to be returned to build a Christmas tree. Use the ball as the star on top of the tree - see #5.
First team to build the Christmas tree wins the round.
Conditions:
Goal scored from 2A: 2 cones
Goal scored from 2B: 1 cone
First time shoot.
Progression:
Use weaker foot to dribble, shoot and/or pass
Increase shooting range
Passing player to chip or throw a ball to shooting player
Regression:
Allow player to control the ball
Remove goalkeeper

Mini game to wrap the session-up.
Limit the game to 3 touches for the first 5mins.
Conditions;
If a team performs 10 successful passes they earn 1 point / 1 cone.
If a team scores a goal outside of the yellow area, they earn 1 point / 1 cones.
If a team scores within the yellow area, they earn 2 points / 2 cones.
Each time a point is earned, player who earned the point should grab a cone(s) and move it to behind their goal. This will create an overload.
Team with the most cones at the end of the session wins the round.

2 mini games to warm-up.
Split teams into 2 groups and order players 1 to 5. Allocate players to houses.
Mini Game 1
Ask player number 1's to swap and go to the other players house. Becoming the Grinch.
All players to tuck bibs into the back of their shorts.
Player who has become the Grinch should chase all players and grab bibs from all players.
First Grinch to obtain all bibs wins the round and earns a cone from the Present Area.
Rotate by swapping Grinch's (1>5). Team with the most cones wins the round.
Timebox to 1.5min rounds.
Mini Game 2
Ask player number 1's to swap and go to the other players house. Becoming the Grinch.
Mirror 'Stuck in the Mud'. All players to have a ball (apart from the Grinch).Players to avoid getting tackled by the Grinch.
If a player gets tackled by the Grinch, player to hold ball above their head and open legs wide. Players can become free'd if their team mate passes the ball through their legs.
If the Grinch tackles all players (entire team becoming stuck), then the Grinch wins the round.
Rotate by swapping Grinch's (1>5). Team with the most cones wins the round.
Timebox to 1.5min rounds.
