THE SESSION: Continuous Transition
Set Up: Half Field
Scenario 1:
Oranges start the attack with their number 6
Objective for the Oranges is to score in any of the three goals (1 point for a side goal and 2 points for the centre goal)
As soon as the Oranges attack is finished (ball goes out or a goal is score) the coach plays the ball into the Black team
oranges now have to make a quick transition
Black have to dribble the ball into their end zone for 2 points or pass into their target man for one point
If the Blacks win the ball in open play then it will be a normal transition
Scenario 2:
The Black team continuously defend the first phase
The coach passes to the Orange team every time the ball goes out and the Blacks must press high up the field and try to counter attack
When the Black counter is finished (goal or ball out of play) the coach passes a new ball into the Orange and the Blacks must switch the point of their defence and apply a new high press

Reactions in the natural transition
