Arrival finishing game (20 mins)

Coach with a supply of balls on the side of the pitch and 2 teams playing. Coach roles a ball into any player and it is a first time finish from anywhere on the pitch with no goalkeepers. Each ball is only used once so as soon it either goes in the goal or off the pitch coach roles a new ball in immediatly. Once all balls have been used game finishes and team scoring the most firstg time goals wins.

Can to progress to goals having to be scored in the attacking half, defending half (long shots), team has to make a certian number of passes before they can score then having a 'golden ball' that is worth 5 goals!

2 touches to score (20 mins)

Two teams arranged as shown. Player dribbles out with a ball and leaves the ball in the square. That player then runs around the cone to the side of the square and goes in goal. As soon as the ball is stopped in the square the first player from the other line sprints forward and has 2 touches to score. The first touch takes the ball outside of the square and the second touch is a shot on goal that has to be taken before the coned line. Both players return to their original line and roles will be reversed after a specified number of shots per team.

2 types of finish (20 mins)

Players lined up in teams as shown with 1 player starting by the cone in front of the goal, 1 player by the side of the other goal as a 'crosser' and the rest lined up together. Both teams can go at the same time to try and score 2 goals. Ball is passed in to the first player in front of the goal who turns and shoots at the goal behind them. Aim for 2 touches, 3 touches maximum. As soon as the first shot has been taken the same player runs towards the other goal and receives a pass / cross from their team mate to try and score with a first time finish in that goal. All players move on one position so original passer moves up to the cone to be the 'shooter' next time, the player taking the 2 shots moves to be the 'crosser' and the original player crossing the ball joins the back of the passing line. Competition first team to score a set number of goals wins.

Overload passing then shot (20 mins)

Players in 2 teams with 2 eqaul areas and a 'free zone' between the areas. Play 4v1, 5v1, 5v2 in each area depending on numbers and ability of players. Team starting has to make a specified number of passes in their area that can be adapted depending on age and ability. After the passes have been made any player can dribble into the 'free zone' for an unopposed shot at goal. Their team mate in the opposite half can get any rebounds after the shot or you can progress to the player taking the shot being able to pass to this player instead of shooting. If the player scores the team receives another ball so they can continue attacking. If the defending player or players wins the ball before the set number of passes have been made they aim to score a goal between them.
