Half pitch practise. Tapered at half way line due to no players utilising that space.
Two wide channels with gates at the end of each channel
1 server from BLUE team with nest of balls ready to play.
Explanation
Play will always start with player 1 who acts as a server. He cannot join in the attack as restricted to 10 yards from half way line but the blue team can utilise him to pass to.Blue team will try and score in the goal worth 2 goals
Blue team can also dribble through the red gate at the end of each channel to score 1.
If reds win possession then the attack finishes and will be played back into player 1 for the next attack to begin.
Coaching Points
Out of possession (RED)- Defend narrow
- Prevent split passes
- Force the play wide
- Protect the space in behind
- Continual shoulder checks, work with your team
In possession (BLUE)
- Play through, around or over the oppositon
- Try to split players with a pass
- Utilise the space of the practice to give the opposition a problem
Move the ball quickly

- Upon winning possession RED can try and score within 5 seconds into either mini goal on the half way line.- If balls goes into wide channel and BLUE midfielder joins in to create a 2v1 in possession overload in wide areas.
