Advanced Three Person Passing Pattern 3

Session Set-up

• Field - Small square ~3x3 yards in center of larger square.
• Players - Three players start ~5 yards outside 3 sides of the central square.
• Player A passes across the central square to B and player A moves to the empty space on the right. 
• Player B bump passes to the side to player C and follows their pass. 
• Player C passes across to the central square to player A and moves to the right. 
• Start with two touches for each pass. 

Coaching Points

• One touch passing rotation requires players to be on their toes and ready to anticipate each player's next movement. 
• Focus and setting up body position as quickly as possible between each pass will help make the rotation move more smoothly. 

Progression

• Progress to 1 touch passing rotation.

• Reverse the direction of the passing. 
• Introduce competition between groups of 3 to see how many rotations can be successfully completed.
