4v4 mini games (10 mins)
Description
4v4, passing and moving, must always pass to the opposite team. On the whistle, it's competitive and the team in possession must complete 5 passes before you can shoot. 45-second rounds.

P1 - mid press from front (15 mins)
Description
9v7, the defending team allow the opposition to come out to the line. Then press aiming to win the ball and release the space that is in behind. When pressing the 9/10 must stop the switch pass and push the opponents wide. Midfield 5 shuffle, leaving opposite wide players free.
Coaching Points
- Midfield must be very compact, allowing no spaces in between.
- Roles & Responsibilities for midfield - no through pass.
- Once the ball has been won, look to exploit the space behind.

P2 - Playing into 10 from GK or Deep (15 mins)
Description - 9v7 phase of play. The ball starts with GK, or in a defensive area. The aim is to play into the number 8, and onto goal.
Phase 1 - 4&6 drop towards the ball, creating space for the 8, who receives from 7 or 11. 8 then sets 4 or 6 to play forward.

P3 - playing of from back (15 mins)
Description - 9v7 phase of play. The ball starts with GK, or in a defensive area. The aim is to play into the number 8, and onto goal.
Phase 2 - 4&6 drop towards the ball, and receives from 2or3, they set 7or11 who then plays into space or 8.

P5 playing out from back (15 mins)
Description - 9v7 phase of play. The ball starts with GK,vin a defensive area, or with a blue team who must make a long ball into the box. The aim is to play into the number 8, and onto goal.
Phase 3 - 4&6 drop towards the ball, creating space for 8 to move into. Gk to 2/3 who sets to 5, passes into 8 who has moved into space. 4/6 spin and are ready to receive.
Coaching points
- When the pass goes into 2/3 allow pressure to give the 5 time to make the direct pass into 8.
- Trigger for 4/6 to drop is when the GK is taken.
- All passes must be high quality.
