This training session is designed to enhance the attackers make fast decisions in 1v1 scenarios by reading the opponents' movements and body shape. Unbalancing the opponent by changing directions, and exploiting the opponent with explosive speed. Can the player be brave and dribble past the opponent? Can the player be creative and unpredictable? Play forward, think forward.
What: To enhance players scribbling skills in 1v1 situations, unbalance, and exploit opponents with dynamic speed and acceleration.
Where: Mid 1/3
Who: #7, #9, #11, #10 vs #2, #4, #5, #3
When: 1v1 situations in the Attacking 1/3 down the flanks
Why: To unbalance the opponent create a scoring chance, and or finish on goal. Identify the free space ahead. Play forward, think forward.
