Guiding The Game

Teaching the players to try and move the ball into areas where our chances of winning possession back are greater.

Four boxes 10x10 3vs6;

- Game starts with 2vs2
 - The two players in possession, look to pass the ball into a box with one player inside it which is either side of them

 - This is a trigger pass and the 3 defending players can approach the player on the ball with the intention to win it back.

 - All three defensive players can enter the box of the single players, but only when the pass has been made.

 - One player can move between the two boxes with two attacking players inside it, to ensure it remains 2vs2

 - For the attackers in the 2vs2 square, they need to focus on dragging the play away from the single players before they pass to ensure the single player has more time on the ball.

 - If the game is too free flowing, the 2vs2 players will need to achieve 3 passes before they can ship it into a single player.
