Numbers Game - Set up as shown above. All players have a number. Coach triggers action by playing in a ball and calling a number. Alternate which side gets the ball so as to avoid a 50-50 ball. In the example above, Coach calls 1s and all the 1s enter the game by running around the corner flag. Relds attack the goal to the right and blues attack the goal to the left.
This game can accommodate large numbers of players. Coach can call multiple numbers to create 3v3 or 4v4 etc.
The field should be small enough that its easy to get within shooting range.
Numbers can be assigned to ensure fair match-ups and challenge players at every level.
Can also be played with small goals.
Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
