Players are going to be working in pairs. They will be working on making contact by laces.
They will start with ball in hand and volley to each other. Focusing on hitting the ball in the middle and locking their ankles
Next, they will bounce the ball on the ground and do a half volley.
They will progess to having the ball on the ground and shooting it to their partner.
Lastly, they will step back and increase the distance.
Coaching points:
-planting foot beside the ball
-part of foot/ball
-follow through
-look at target and ball

Shooting for corners.
The players on the end line will pass the ball to player 2. Player two will take a first touch towards goal and finish on net. They will score 1 point if it gets in the goal and 3 points if it gets into the corner.
Each player will count how much points they get.
Progression:
The players from the endline will play a diagonal ball across.
We could also include a goalie.
Coaching points:
-First touch towards goal
-locate the target

Finishing with Pressure
Player will receive the ball and try to finish a goal, while a player is pressuring them.
There will be 3 different places where the defending player comes from.
1. from behind
2. the side
3. in front
Coaching point:
Take positive touch towards goal and away from pressure.
