Setup: 12 cones marking middle and end points of 5yd alleys lined up with the edge of the 6 yd box. Alleys begin on the 18yd line. Attacker group (blue), 2 defenders (yellow), Wall pass group (red), and 1 goalkeeper (purple). Balls with coach on the front edge of box.
Game (3 Progressions): Defenders rotate from out (Dalt) to D1 to D2 and then back out. WP and ATT stay same and then rotate all players after 5 min
Progression 1 (shown) - ATT 1 dribbles towards D1. As D1 advances, ATT 1 gives a Wall pass to one of the WP's and works to receive it back. After receiving, he takes a dribble touch past defender to a quick shot on goal
Progression 2 - ATT 1 beats D1 with 1v1 dribble, and then performs a wall pass with either WP1 or WP2. Receives wall pass to perform 1 or 2 touch shot on goal.
Progression 3 - ATT 1 dribbles at D1 and gives wall pass to either WP. After receiving pass behind D1, ATT 1 then performs a second wall pass around D2. Finish with 1 or 2 touch shot on goal.
Scoring: Attackers = 1pt per successful wall pass and 1 pt per goal. Defenders/Goalie = 1pt for successful defense/save
Coaching Points:
- Suck defender in by dribbling towards them first
- Pass before entering tackle zone
- Immediately sprint behind defender as quick as possible after passing
- RAP (rolling, accuracy, and pace) on all passes
- WP need to move at good angles to defender
- WP angle their bodies towards pass
- Good set up touch to finish

Setup: 4v4 w 3 neutrals. in a grid large enough for success (appr. width of 18yd box and 10 yds in from midfield and endline). 2 cone goals for targets.
Game: Directional. One team starts with ball and tries to work it from one end target to the other end target. Offense is numbers up with a neutral in the middle. Team can continue to maintain possession from one side to the next until they lose possession. Any team that wins possession immediately plays out to end and play continues.
Scoring/Duration: 1 pt for each successful switch. 1 pt for each combo in middle.

WP Warmup w ball mastery
Setup: Setup will be same as phase 2 (wall pass to finish).
Game: Two teams of 5 will simultaneously work a ball from one end of the grid to the other. There must be one wall pass completed in center of grid. When pass is made to the end line, the person who receives the pass takes a touch into the grid, then makes a pass. The person who made the pass outside the grid, moves to the outside position.
Alternate this game with some ball mastery. All red quickly find a ball and lineup on the Red Side BM, and all Blue go to the Blue Side BM. All players line up on the cone lines of the alleys, facing the middle of the grid. Upon coaches, command they perform ball mastery skills to the cone line 5 yds ahead, then sprint with ball to opposite alley, perform a turning move in alley and sprint back. Do same BM and same turn for 2 min. Then go back into WP game.
After 3 minutes of wall pass movement, do 2 minutes ball mastery. Continue to alternate for 10 to 15 minutes, working on technical warmup.
Ball Mastery = toe taps, bell taps (tic tocs), pull back v's moving forward, mini lace dribbles, in-in-out
Turns = L-Turn, Scissor fake and counter turn, pull back, step on/outside touch, Drag and open up
