The area is set up 40 x 30 yards with a half way line splitting into 2 x 2x30 sections.
The red team play length ways and have a Target Player at each end and the blues play width ways with a Target Player at each end. This creates a 5v4 for the reds per half and a 6v4 for the blues.
The aim of the game is to link 4 passes before a switch can be made. The reds switch to the opposite Target Player, as shown, and transition to that area as quickly as possible. The blues, on completion of their 4 passes move across areas. This can be a diagonal switch from Target to Target or a through ball with the support and transition of all players including Target Players.
Rotate Target Players and also direction of play.
To progress on receiving the ball a Target Player can drive in an be replaced. Both teams will be set up as a Diamond 4 in midfield. Blues are replicating playing forward to #9 and back to #5. Reds are replicating switching from #2 to #3.

COACHES CUES
* #6 YOUR CUE TO RECEIVE THE BALL IS WHEN #3 OR #4 LIFTS THEIR HEAD AND LOOKS TO PASS.
* #8 AND #10 YOUR CUE TO GO FORWARD IS WHEN THE BALL IS PLAYED TO YOU IN A FORWARD POSITION (NOT TO FEET OR WHEN YOUR BACK IS TO GOALS).
ADD #2 AND #5 RED TEAM AND #7 AND #11 BLUE TEAM AND REMOVE CONES TO MAKE FULL WIDTH CONCENTRATING ON MIDFIELD RECEIVING THE BALL FACING FORWARD AND THEIR MOVEMENT OFF THE BALL.
