Organization:
Two teams of 6 play in 4-2 formation (adding 2 FB) in the same field as previous but now can use full width. Attacking team (Red) scores on the big goal, while def team (Blue) if regain possession try to find one of the servers (Black) outside of the playing area. If the ball goes out/score, one of the servers play another ball for the Red team.
Blue team should stay inside the restricted area to defend the goal. If the ball goes out of this area for one of the Red wingers, blues are allowed to come out and press. When the ball gets back inside the are, the blue team has to come back as well. This encourages compactness and movement as one unit.
Coaching Points:
-Players need to stay compact and to mantain the shape and the distance between each other..
-Defensive principles (Pressure, cover and balance) for both def lines.
-Force the opponent's play out of the zone toward the side line,
-Speed of transition between the def roles if the opponent switch the point of attack
-Communication to coordinate the movement.
