BUILDING ON FROM PREVIOUS PRACTICE GOING INTO A STRUCTRED ONE DIRECTIONAL SMALL SIDED GAME WHERE PLAYERS ARE SET IN POSITIONS AND TRY AND WORK THE BALL INTO STRIKER BY PLAYING THROUGH MIDFIELD BUILDING, GIVING SPECIFIC INFORMATION TO DEEP LYING MIDFIELDER. IN POSSESSION TEAM MUST BE EXPANSIVE USING DEPTH AND HEIGHT TO OPEN UP GAPS AND SPREAD THE OPPOSITION LINE TO BREAK THEM USING QUICK BALL CIRCULATION AND INTELLIGENT PASSING
IN TRNASITION FROM ATTACK TO DEFENCE ON TURNOVER OF POSSESSION, PLAYERS WILL MAKE IMMEDIATE RECOVERY RUNS, WHEN RED TEAM RECIEVE THE BALL, 2 WIDE PLAYERS ARE IN ZONES, ONCE THEY RECIEVE 1 ATTACKING (BLACK SHIRT PLAYER) AND GO IN AND CREATE A 1V1 SITUATION ( IDEA AROUND THIS IS TO FORCE BALL TO GO BACK INTO MIDDLE OR BLACKS TO WIN BALL AND START FROM A WIDE AREA.)
OUR DEEP LYING MIDFIELDER WILL DRAG INDIVIDUALS INTO POSITION AND SCREEN FORWARD PASSES INTO OPPOSITION STRIKERS
IN TRANSITION FROM DEFENCE TO ATTACK CAN WE EXPLOIT THE 3V2 SITUATION IN CENTRAL AREA MAKING QUICK FORWARD RUNS AND QUICK FORWARD PASSING INTO AREAS THAT MIGHT EXPLOIT 1 V 1 SITUATIONS, ALSO PLAYER WHO MAKES THE PASS INTO 2 ATTACKERS CAN JOIN TO MAKE 3V2 SITUATION (PROGRESSIO )

Key Factors
same as above set up etc
This slide is about problems opposition will cause us.
*red team have 10 seconds to score
*first 3 blocks if red defenders recieve from keeper they have 5 seconds unappossed to get ball into midfeild, 4 & 5 phase depending on success rate, players can look to win it back.
*player who is in shaded area (red) - he is in that area on his own till he recieves a pass, once he does
1 black player can go into box what creates a 1v1
outcome i am looking for is we win ball back and create 3v2 situation then into a 4v2 situation.
problem solving situations
if red team press us high, i want my defenders to drop wide, to wider defenders drop to corner of box, this give us an option to play straight into midfeild.
if red team drop deep, i want central defender, to recieve ball on half turn, play into 3 midfeilders.
roles out of possession - 3 black defenders in end zone - 3 midfeilders (1 yellow) 2 strikers
looking at
progression
in 3rd block i want defender who plays pass into midfeild to progression to make a 4v2 situation - same if with player plays into strikers to create a 3v2 situation.

outcomes - to create 3v2 sitations in central zones - players being comfitable on the ball, looking to across to other players on opposite side so for example - if number 1 black plays into central players aim is to get ball over to number 2 player.
outside players can play to eachother to create space for central players to move
