This session is intended to emphasize We Phase in 1-3-1 formation.

Objective: futsal specific warm-up.
Set-up: first 3 cones are 5 yards part. 4th cone is 2 yards. 5th cone is another 2 yards.
Instructions: players check away, run diagonal, block and roll.
Variations: start with jog, high knees, heels up, side slide facing each other, open & close the gate, straight leg march, quick feet around middle cone, up and back sprints.

Objective: work on patterns for breaking pressure in a 3-1 formation.
Set-Up: 3 lines of players fix, right ala, left ala.
Instructions: Pass 1 from fix to ala, fix then follows pass and screens defender (cone), ala dribbles toward fix line and then passes to next fix in line. Follow pass into line.
Variations: (1) fix passes the ball but runs to opposite line. (2) fix passes the ball and runs middle then to opposite line.
Coaching Points: (1) quality of passes, (2) explosive movements without the ball, (3) receiving with the sole.

Objective: to learn the full game of futsal and work on a 1-3-1 formation.
Organization: 5v5 full court two goals. Both teams set-up in 1-3-1 formation
Instructions: play normal game of futsal.
General Coaching Points: (1) teach the rules of futsal to the players, (2) start developing the system of play.

Objective: to activate the players mentally and physically.
Organization: Goals set-up on court. Training vest and balls ready.
Instructions: as players arrive at training they are placed on teams.
Coaching Points: this is a time for the players to just play. Coaches should keep things organized, help players get on teams, make small adjustments, but for the most part let the players play.
