5v5+2
Greys keep the ball first, and are allowed anywhere in the entire area. All reds must be in the half where the ball is at all times. Reds look to win the ball & dribble outside the area. Magic men can be pressed & tackled. 1min30s timer per group, lots of footballs at the ready
Points
Points only go to OOP team, with each team tallying up their points, losers do a forefeit
- 1 Point for winning the ball
- 1 Point for dribbling the ball out of play
COACHING POINTS
- "FOUR" - Prevent the opposition making four passes or having the ball for four seconds
- Speed of press & recovery (stepping all the way up)
- Intensity & aggressiveness to win the ball
- Triggers (specifically: poor touch, back to goals)

6v6 drill, 3 on the outside, and 3 in the middle. Each team scores towards the goal they are currently set up in. The ball will be played to one team, who must make 4 passes before scoring in the mini goal. OOP team must win the ball, and look to transition this to their side, before completing 4 passes & scoring. If ball is kicked off OOP team, ball restarts with IP team (mimick a real game, now its a bit more about retaining)
COACHING POINTS
- FOUR
- TOGETHER - After 4 passes, if we havent won the ball back, we need to get narrow and defend the goal. First threat is 4 passes (so press), then next threat is the goal (so drop off)
