1v1 A (20 mins)
THE SESSION: 1v1 A
Set Up: 10x20
Two players opposite each other, one being defender and one being attacker
Attacking player runs towards centre same time as defending player
Attacking player then picks a side to run through and defending player has to tag him
Now add ball
Blues are the defenders and start with the ball
They pass the ball down to the red attacker
The red attacker has two gates that they must dribble through with the ball to score a point
If the defender wins the ball they can also dribble through either gate
Rotate groups as often as possible

3v2 to goal
15x10/20x15/25x20 depending on age and numbers 2 teams on opposite endlines, 3 attackers come out, and 2 defenders, if 2 defenders win ball they go over the end line with a dribble, and new teams come on with a goal scored or ball goes out, rotate roles after a while, can have 2 fields going, can use a GK/mini goals/ or smaller goal
coaching points-dribble at defender to make them commit, space/spread out, can coach the defenders to press/cover and work together

Duration: 10mins
Instructions: Players dribble around the outside of the box using outside cuts to turn, complete 5 revolutions. Switch direction so they are now doing inside cuts, 5xs. Switch to weak foot and repeat 3xs each direction.
Coaching points: Proper technique dribbling and sharp cuts.
