STATION 2
Counter Attacking at Speed to Shoot - 18 Minutes
Set Up
- Quarter Field
- 4v4 or 5v5 plus 4 neutral players
- GK on Red Team in Goal
- 3 goals at other end of pitch (cones)
Instructions
- Blue attacks the goal with the GK
- Red attacks the 3 goals and can only score by placing the shot along the ground
- Both teams should use the neutral players for a 1-2 cut back for a shot
- On losing possession the team winning possession counter-attacks and shoots as early as a shooting lane opens up
Progression
- Set a number of passes before a shot e.g. 3
- Play 1 or 2 touch passing
Coaching Points
- Decision to shoort before receiving the ball
- Choice of the technique (power, finesse)
- Correct technique eg. laces through the ball
- Changing the point of attack through the use of a cut back or through ball

STATION 1
Triangle Goal Game - 18 Minutes
Organization
- Quarter Field
- Create a triangle with cones 5x5x5
- GK inside triangle
- Play normal scrimmage 5v5 or 6v6
Instructions
- Both teams attack the 3 sided goal
- GK should defend all 3 sides of the goal
- If a team scores the get a point and the ball is live on the other side of the goal
- If the GK collects the ball possession changes sides
