Players work in 2s or 3s. The players dribble to the centre cones and complete a series of turns in order to pass out to their team mate.
Turns to be worked on
Encourage the players to disguise the turn and to make a fast, accurate pass to their team mate.

Players work in 2s or 3s. One player starts at the centre cone and the other players on the outside. The outside players pass into the centre player and then run to the centre cone where they made their pass.
The centre player who receives the ball does a turn to go to the right next centre cone and then dribbles to the outside cones. After they have moved back to their starting cone, they carry on but turn left instead of right.
This is how to receive the pass and be able to move forward away from the opposition player.

The pitch is split into defensive and attacking halves - to start the defenders and attackers must stay in their half of the pitch.
To start and to allow for forward passes and turns etc, defenders are not allowed to be tackled when playing out into the forwards - the attackers must delay the defenders. This moves up to full attacking and tackling.
The attackers will now receive lots of repetition at moving o receive the pass, turning when receiving the pass and when to dribble to shoot or pass.
After 5 mins rotate defenders and attackers, then upgrade into a normal match where players are not locked into defend / attack location.

Turning to Run
The coach shouts 'GO' and the players have to race to the yellow cone. When they are running the coach will call 'TURN', now the players must race back to the starting cone.
If the coach shouts 'BLUE' or 'RED' the players must turn and run around the cone before getting back to the starting cone.
This makes the players turn on both feet and accelerate just as they need to during a match to lose the opposition to receive the ball.
This is then upgraded for the coach to make the pass and the player to receive at either the blue or red cone and pass back to the coach with 1 or 2 touches.
