What: Last week the opposition team was able to build out from the back too easily.
Who: our 6,7,8,9,10,11 there 1,2,3,4,5,6,8.
Where: Our Attacking third
When: Off goal kicks and set plays in their opposition defensive third.
Why: We were not collectively pressing at the correct moment. The opposition was regularly able to play the ball through us and around us.

Setup:
Field Size: Half field split into 2 zones on the wings. Zones 20 x 30. Zone starts 10 yards from the goal line and 20 yards from the touchline.
Players: 14 split into 4 teams of 3. 3 (Red) v 3 (Blue) in each zone with the GK and spare player as target players. 2 assistant coaches as feeders.
Equipment: 20 balls. 6 Red bibs, 6 Blue bibs. 2 Green bibs, 4 Pop up goals, 12 cones.
Explanation:
Play starts with a pass from the coaches into the centre backs on either side. The Blue team must attempt to pass the ball to end player or the goal to score. Red team are to try and win the ball back . When they win they ball the back they are to try and score in the pop up goal or drive through the gates.
Scoring Method:
Blue Team:
- 1 point scored for a pass into the endzone player
- 3 points to score in the mini goal placed in the centre circle.
Red Team:
- 3 points if the score via the goal or gates.
Progressions:
Red team: 1 additional point for winning the ball back in the shaded zone.
Team Task:
Can we collectively press the opposition to force them into a turnover.

Setup:
Field Size: Half field
Players: 14
Equipment: 7 Red bibs, 7 Blue bibs, 1 large goals, 3 pop up goals. 20 balls.
Explanation:
Formations: Red 4-2 Blue 1-4-3
Red team attempt to play out from the back and score in either of the pop up goals.
Blue team are to attempt to win the ball as soon as possible and then try to score in the full size goal.
Offside rules apply.
Start/Restarts - Ball always starts with a goal kick for the red team. Red team goalkeeper must play to either 2,3,4,5 or 6.
Scoring Method:
Red team: 1 point per goal scored. 1 point for being able to pass the ball out of their defensive third.
Blue team: 1 point per goal scored. 1 point for winning the ball back in the shaded third . 3 points for winning the ball back in the attacking third and scoring.
Starting Positions:
Red - #4&3 must start inside the 18 yard box. #2 and #5 are touchline. # 6 stays central and looks to receive off the CB's. The opposition midfield 3 do not rotate.

As the ball travels to the opposition #2 & #5, can you force them backwards or sideways with their first touch.
When the ball is with the opposite fullback, can you position yourself within the shadow of the nearest 8/10, but be ready to slide/press.

Explanation:
Normal Laws of the game, with the exception that all starts/Restarts after a goal are a goal kick to the red team.
Blue team are attacking the full size goal and the red team are attacking the pop up goals.
