In this exercise we are observing players passing moving and concentration level for the next pass
Player A pass to player B, player B will path into the path of player A to player C, player B will reveice from player C and do a quick 1-2.
We are observing passing, the lay off and how a player appraoches the ball

Organization: Same as the pass move dribble exercise
Progressions Instructions: Player A will pass the ball to player B, Player B will lay off the ball to Player A that is running down the line. Player B will go ahead and overlap player A that will pass to player C. Player c will then pass the ball to the overlapping player B and will combine to do a 1-2. Player C will go ahead dribble down the line and continue the exercise.
Coaching Points: Observe players passing, players 1 touch/2nd touch, dribbling down the line

Organization: 2 teams with equal number. 1 ball in the game.
Instructions: The teams will try to dribble to the neutral space. They will use dribbling, passing and moving off the ball to create space.
Coaching Points: In this exercise observe players passing and receiving while taking on the open space created by the opposite team.
Progressions: 4v4 game with goal

Organization: Teams will be divided in equal number of players. Goals will be at the end line, 2 goals on the outside for players to dribble through
Instructions: goal will count as 1 goal. the 2 small goals will count as 2 goals because players will have to dribble through them with good control of the ball.
Coaching Points: Observe players passing, moving and dribbling ability into space.
If numbers allow, you could have a neutral player that will give the attacking team more passing options.

Warm up Dribblin/Passing (15 mins)
Organization: Have players stand on the corners of the box. All cones should have equal number of players (If available). There will be a box in the middle of the grid with balls in the middle. Have more soccer balls then players
Instructions: On the coach command "go"all 4 players will go to the middle of the box, take a ball with their feet go back to their original cone and go to either left/right (the team must be going the same direction) and dribble to the next player. The player receiving the ball will then go back to the middle of the box take another ball and do the same as previously described.
