Andrew Calderbank- Technical passing warm up: variations 2-3
SET UP
-7 players minimum is required, Maximum 13 players per station. If you have 14+ players set up another station and have two staions operating.
-8x manicans or poles required, depending on the skill level of your players make the the squares bigger or smaller to suit. For advanced players these are set 4mx4m square, and the two squares are 8m apart from each other.
-6x red cones, placed off three sides of the two squares as shown in the picture, 4m back from the edge of the square.
- 1x ball.
INSTRUCTIONS
- The ball starts at one end of the exercise, as shown. There are one player on each of the red cones, and if more then 7 players in the group they are placed evenly behind each of the end red cones, as shown in the picture. (Note: if there are only the minimum 7 players in the group the spare player must start behind yhe end where the ball starts).
- Ball gets played aound following the pattern of the black arrows, players take up the postion of the player they have passed to.
- (Note: the ball is passed and picked up inside the manicans.
