Area devided into 2 zones players work in pairs and try to transfer ball from 1 side of area to th other in a 2v1 situation. they then join next zone and play opposite way. 1 defender x1 can go into another area to create 2v1.

Organisation (brief description of session):

Thirds game - play starts from blue GK 2v2 in defensive zone so blue m/f allowed to drop in and make 3v2 play through thirds and into final third where it is 1v1.

Progression -defending m/f allowed into defending zone. 1 attacker allowed in final third to make 2 v 1.

Learning Objectives:

Technical:

Reciving skills/ weight of pass movement - lose defender 1 -2s/ disguise.

Tactical:

Passer chose best option combination play / individual skill to beat defender.

Physical:

Speed,balance & co-ordination

Psych/ Social:

communication - demand ball work together with partner.
