Organisation
- Half pitch setup
- Offside high defensive line put in with flat discs (Players can move if they want to)
- 6 v 6 with Blues having 2,3,5,6 & 4 & 8
- Yellows attack with 4,8,10,11,7 & 9
- Balls on half way line
Activity
- Yellows start play with 4 or 8 who look to play balls in behind the offside line into the 3 target zones
- Blues can go into offside zone once ball is play into it for emeregncy defending
- If blues win the ball they look to play into coach in red scoring zones quickly
- Play resumed with yellow 4 or 8 getting a new ball from coach on half way
- Yellows have 10 seconds to score once past the offside line

- Blue 4 & 8
Must haves from session
- MUST have back 4 recognising cues when yellows might play long
- MUST have back 4 dropping if no preessure on ball to kill space in behind
- MUST have 2 & 3 in good positions if ball is switched long
- MUST have 5 & 6 attacking balls with good timing
- MUST have pressure on the ball from 4 or 8

- pitch split into 1/3's
- Teams play 3 -2-1
Activity
- Any ball played from a different 1/3 is worth 3 goals
- Other goals worth 1
- Attacking 3rd shot clock 30 seconds to shoot or free kick to defending team
- No corners normal rules apply
In game challenges

Press - If close enough to affect play stop defender getting head up to play long
Position - if unable to press screen the midfield to stop them playing through
Protect - If ball is played long take up a position between their midfield & defence / ready for transition
#8 & 4
Press - nearest player press the ball other to screen ball into yellow 9
Position - if you cant press both drop compact to screen ball into yellow 9
Protect - space behind defence by tracking runners from midfield or passing on to defenders

Press - If we have pressure on ball stay high (no threat to back line )
Position - Keep distances with 3 & 2 tight to prevent through ball
Protect - no pressure on ball (threat to back line) drop to protect space in behind

Press - Nearest player press in wide aeas other full back tuck in
Position - If ball is central stay compact with 5 to prevent through ball
Protect - Have good positioning to protect space in behind if switched diagonally
