SSG - 3 v 2(+GK) (15 mins)
SSG - 3 v 2 (+GK)
In essence, the players are split into 3v3 teams. The only way that they can score is by creating an overlap, underlap, give and go, drop ball etc.
3 reps of 5 minutes - Use the 5 mintes as rotations for players
To make it competitive, 1 goal for every attacking goal and 2 points for every defending goal. Play first to 5 points and make changes then if needs to be done before the 15 minute mark.
Coaching Points
What are the triggers?
How do we recognise when a player needs to receive support?
How do we receive the ball?
How can we let our team mates know what we want?
Why do we create supporting movements when we go forward?

ESSG - 7 v 4 (+GK)
Attacking to play 3-3-1 and defending team to play 1-4.
2 x 8 minutes reps to reach capacity of 20 minutes (Changing players around will mean time is wasted inbetween reps)
Attacking and defending objectives are the same as previous game.

Game - 9v9 (25 mins)
Game - 9v9
Focus is not the amount of goals or goal scoring
Give the players strict orders that for them to score, they must perform a supporting attacking move in the build up to the goal.
If supporting movements start to deteriorate, set them a challenge of doing an overlap/underlap, give and go etc. But let the players make the decision first before you intervene.
