Timings.

10 minute split into 3X3 with a 1 minute water break.

This could vary depending on how the practice is going and rhythm of the session.

Organisation.

18 outfield players and 2 neutral players out wide.

8 players will be on a blue team, 3 blue will go into the end zone and another 3 blue will go into the first grid, 2 blues will go into the middle zone.

The red team will follow the instructions of the blue in the set up.

2 neutral players will play in green and play on the outside.

 Explanation.

Blue team starts with the ball in the zone closest to the half way. A neutral from from the wide area can come into the zone and join play.

Can the team in possession get the ball forward into the next zone, once the ball is played into the next section an attacking player from either side of the zone can join in creating the overload. If a team successfully plays the ball through each of the zones with an overload they get a point.

One neutral player can enter the attacking zone and one attacking player from another zone can enter the attacking box creating a two player overload.

Once the defending team win the ball back the opposite team must go back into shape within three seconds or a point is lost from their team.

New attacking team can use neutral players as well as a player from their team in another zone.

Progressions.

Adding goals into the practice.

Adding two goalkeepers.
Can players still use the zones to play through the lines but getting a neutral player into the zone, other neutral player can go into the final attacking zone.

Once players are in the attacking zone to where they score they have a time limit of 5 seconds to get a shot off.

Regression.

No time limit on getting shot off.

Letting 2 neutral players enter the attacking zone.

One defender becomes unopposed.
