Up back & through, 3rd man run
Striker and 10 in the middle ready to lay off to the 3rd man.
All other players divided equally among the four cones around outside.
First pass to the 10 then lay off to the opposite 3rd man runner, then find the 9 to find the player who made first pass who then switches play. Repeat the cycle.
Coaching Points.
Pass and receive details - firm accurate passing and body shape to cut through the opposition
Runners to time the run to prevent going beyond the ball (difficult for 9 and 10 if the angle is at 90 degrees)

5v5+5 Rondo
3 teams in different coloured bibs
Play from top to bottom and back again by using the 8 v 5 overload in the middle or wide players for 2 mins then swap the payers in the middle
Coaching points for the pressers to force them wide by first intent, 1 with pressure on the ball, other 4 cutting out angles, aware of danger and pressing shadow. Always scanning and closing the net
Coaching points for in possession to play early forward pass where possible, use up back and through to find third man, supporting runs AND runs in behind when it goes up and wide. Good weight of pass to break lines. High ball speed.

Play through pressure and find the third man
Split team into 5 pairs that - 2 centre backs + 2 starting full backs + 6&8 + 10+sub + 2 subs (pressing)
Defenders and full backs (4,5,2,3) start with a 4 v 2 (13,14) and play out through the pressure to 6 or 8 on the half turn in behind the line (the poles / mannequins).
They immediately play to 10 & 12 and join them in their zone and keep possession. 13 & 14 switch to the to pressing the 10 & 12 and 2 and 3 move to the central zone behind the poles to receive on the half turn and play forward.
Progress to a one touch combo behind the poles / mannequins (simulates 3rd man and up / back through if under pressure)
Coaching points are speed of passing and keeping angles open for the combinations and forward passes. Passing and receive details to find the back foot to play forward quick. If back foot isn't found to open up body set back or use partner for forward pass.

Finishing drill with forwards & subs + 2 coaches as feeders
Up to striker for lay off, touch and finish, rotate left to right and practice different types of finish
Striker Coaching points - use the full goal, find the corners. Touch out your feet attack the ball and focus on feet positioning. One look up to know where the goal is the only look at the ball. React ready for spill.
Goalkeeper coaching points - check angles, 3 steps forward after the striker has had his look, close the space - change the picture he saw. React ready for second save

Order of Warm up & timings
1. Arrival triangle passing focusing on one touch, changing direction - social, light hearted finish at 0900
2. Ball manipulation & skills. Focus on scanning, being aware of danger and turning out safe side using body to protect ball - social finish at 09:05
3. Jogging, activation & dynamic stretching - starting to get in the zone - coaches giving messages about mentality - finish at 09:10
4. 5 v 5 + 5 rondo or change numbers to utilise all outfield players - now the intensity goes up for quick passing and movement to play through or around using the overload - switch wide/middle players after 2 mins - finish at 09:17
5. Split into 2 groups - strikers, forwards and keepers doing finishing drills in the two goals & 10 players doing the drill to play through pressure, break lines to find spare players in behind (subs are rotated as pressers) - finish at 09:25 for team talk.
