Organisation
-Players with a ball each
-Split players into one of the two Zones
Description
-Everyone begins by dribbling in the area.
-When coach blows whistle, players perform skills from last week at a Red cone-
Shoulder Feint/Stepovers.
-When coach shouts SWITCH, players must cross into the opposite zone whilst passing & switching balls with a player from the opposite zone. They then continue to dribble in their new zone.
Progression:
-Now give ball to only players of One Zone.
-On the whistle, these players must try to cross into the opposite zone safely by dribbling their ball back into the area. Once them and their ball are in the new area they are safe.
-If they get tackled they switch with player who tackled them.

Organisation
-Players work in teams of 3 for both Drills
Drill A
Triangle Passing & Moving
-Players work in their teams, focusing on passing/receiving and moving. The idea of the game is for players to communicate using each others' names but also hand signals.
-Players have 2 touches before passing the ball to a teammate.
Progressions:
- Now players can pass to anyone and move to either space after completing the pass. The must
replace the position of one of the other 2 players (any). The player who was replaced must then move into the empty space.
Coaching points:
-Emphasize intensity, communication and rhythm.
-Players must be constantly be passing.
Note: For both drills, set up as shown X3.

Organisation
-Assign players to teams of 4.
-3 players trying to keep possession V 1 defender.
Description
-Players work on continuing the second progression of the Technical element covered today, where they must pass to one of their teammates and move into a new position (one of the corners) after every pass.
-The defender must work to anticipate where the ball is going.
-If the defender steals the ball, he must replace player who attempted the pass.
Progression:
-Now players play a possession match using the whole space (No goals for first 2 minutes).
-The aim is to apply the learned tactics of positioning to maintain possession of the ball.
Coaching points:
-Emphasize the importance of NOT being in the same position as another teammate
-Cover as much area as possible by spreading out and giving as many options i.e. by passing using Triangles
-Use spatial awareness well by looking up at all times: before, after and during a pass.
