Move into Technical
Players will be encouraged with some basic mechanics,
1. Ball Close
2. Different surfaces
3. Head up
4. Change of pace and direction
Progression 1 - We will introduce the 5 zones players will be asked to dribble into any zone and then to another each time the go to a new zone the count how may times they have managed to enter and exit a zone. After 60 seconds we break and look at the results. This excercise is repeated 3 times

Skill
Players will be split into 4 groups and all balls placed centrally (20) balls
One player from each group must run to the centre collect a ball dribble back to the corner zone and tag in the next player who will repeat the excercise. When all the balls are in the corners the winning team will be the team with most balls.
Progression 1 - Use of week foot in conjunction with the stronger foot
This game will be played 3 times

Progression 2
We have added some time pressure already to add competition with the last two activities we now add an opponent.
Players are split into pairs on opposite sides of the boxes. One player is the chaser and must chase the other. Players must dribble outside the 4 cones.
The size of the box can be used to progerss or regress the challenge of the box can be changed to a triangle.
Players chase for 20-30 seconds we then rest for 30 seconds , the chasers swap, and we repeat 3 times.
Players may be swapped to produce more equal pairings if required

SSG
Teams Play 5v5 with two end zones (representing the goals) a point is scored every time you pass into the end zone and 2 points if you can dribble in
Progression / Regression - the zone can be made smaller or the central part removed
Gates ay be added to the pitch with bonus points if you dribble through

25 x 25 box with 5 smaller internal zones, 4 at the corners and 1 central
10 Players with 1 set of 5 bibs given to 5 players

Warm up
1. All players will be asked to dribble freely with no restrictions
2. On a one blast whistle they will perform toe taps for 10 seconds then continue on a two blast whistle they will tap the ball from the inside of the right and left feet alternatley. On a long whistle they will sit on the ball
3. Players will be stop and carry out some exercise at intervals Arm swings, high knees, hoping on one foot.
