Practice 2- 4v4 using end zones to score
Organisation
Split players into 2 groups after 1st practice
4v4 in the 18 yard box with the end zones marked out at both ends with mini goals
Players can only score when they receive a through pass into the zone,
the mark of the end zone is classed as the offside trap-defenders cannot enter the end zonesuntil the ball has entered the zone
PROGRESSION
-defenders can enter the zone, which will take the offside line to wherever the deepest defender plays.
This encourages more creativity from the attacking team to play into the zone and behind the back line to score

Pitch is set up at the beginning ready for the full session to progress easier, with the 3 practices set up at the centre and both ends of the pitch,
1st set-up in the centre of the field-
'KEY PASSING' AND PATIENCE
marked area approx 40m x 30m in centre of the pitch
-6 V 6 in the marked area with 4 neutrals on the outside
-OBJECTIVE
keep pssesion with the intent of scoring a point by playing the key/killer pass into the scoring box for a team-mate to receive
Players cannot enter the scoring box to defend,
If there is no space to playthe killer pass, patience in keeping possession will open a space eventually to play the pass

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Key Pass game with backwards goals to
encourage through ball behind the defence
Organisation
8 v 8 in the marked area as shown, pitch from 18yd box to 18yd box
scoring zone marked 10 yds from end line with the goals facing other way
Game is focused on creating chances to get behind the back line
Defenders cannot enter the scoring zone before a pass has been played, the line represents the offside trap, therefore defenders do not want to step behind their defensive line to keep an opponent on-side.
