* Looking for trends
* Identifying the 5 W’s within the videos/trends in the videos

5 W’s
What? Above- Goal
Where? In the middle third
Who? 7,11,9,8,10
When? To create chances in the offensive third
Why? We didn’t pass or dribble forward when possible, and no variety of runs to try and get in behind/between the defensive lines of the opponent. #3 and 7 TTC on Road Maps.
KQ- #1 &2 Read and understand the game and make autonomous decisions. & Take initiative, be pro-active.
General Principles:
1. Exploit the opponent when unbalanced/disorganized
2. Unbalance/disorganize the opponent
Objectives:
- Possession to pass or dribble forward (in order to create chances in the offensive third).
Questions to ask:
1- Is it organized?
2- Is it game-like?
3- Is there repetition?
4- Is it challenge challenging?
5- Is there coaching? - getting the desired behaviors from focus group/players (and other group and players, as well).
Orientation Phase – Outline the Training Situation (Problem) you want to present to the players. What specifically are you going to ask the opponent (non-focus) team to do - Think?
Problem- Inability to pass or dribble forward to play in behind or in between opponent lines to creat chances.
Opponent/non-focus group instruction- press every technical execution(pass and/or dribble).
Learning Phase – Outline the Solution to the Training Situation (what are you going to teach?) Look/find space to exploit on dribble or pass & look for/create 2v1 and 1v1 situations.
