Aim- to get people comfortably performing a volley to a team mate.
Objective- to get the participants to perform a simple volley to them selfs and keep it going.
Objective 2- to get participants to perform a volley to someone else repetitively.
Objective 3- to get participants to perform a volley in a game situation.
Equipment- 15x volley balls, 15x blue cones, 15x red cones.
Venue- Cardonald Clyde college games hall.
Client group- 18 participants, beginner level, age 18-30, mixture of males and females.

Organizational / Instructions
For the skill practice there will be 3 people in a team volleying the ball under control to one another
Coaching Points
Get the ball high so It gives your teammates move chance to get under the ball
Progressions / Adaptations
Show the class how it would work in a game such like to the net, along the net, across the net

Conditions game i will try make the teams fair as possible. The condition game will contain the 3 touches rule to the net ect

Make sure the ball is high for the person receiving it
Call out who’s it for or call out if your taking the ball

I will have my volley balls at the side ready for the warm up I will go though the warm up. The warm up will be related to the session of working on the volley the class will be running around volleying the ball in the air under control.
Coaching Points
You want both hands head height and while the ball in in your hands you push up making sure both palms of your hands are facing away from one another
Progressions / Adaptations
When the class get better we add in challenge like a clap after the volley then see how many claps u can do and for last challge clap behind your back
