DESCRIPTION
This practice sees two attackers – here, Team A – tryto outplay three individual defenders who are onlypermitted to defend in the zone ahead of their line. The defenders must stay on their respective line untilthe attackers enter their zone.• Using combination play or individual dribbles, theattacking pair must attempt to break each of the threedefenders’ lines without them touching the ball.• Each time a defender wins possession or an attackingpair successfully beats all three defenders, a new pair ofattackers come into play.• This is the point at which each defender moves up aline. The first defender – here, B1 – moves to the back ofthe defenders’ queue, while B2 and B3 move up a lineand B4 becomes the third defender.• Each time an attacking pair manages to successfullybreak all three lines and reach the far end of the playingarea, they accumulate a goal for their team.• The attacking and defending teams can swap roles aftereach block of work.
