4 vs 4 Box Set up.
- Score a goal and stay on.
- Keeper encouraged to help switch play
- BPO: Look to promote 2-2 defensive set up
- BP: Top line move wide and deeper line look to play and make forward runs (Simulates the top two lines of our offensive organisation).

8 vs 8
Method:
- 5 rounds at 5 minutes
- 1-3-2-3 formation vs 1-3-2-3 formation + 1 player who is on the team who has possession.
- If ball goes out on sideline, restart with throw in
- If ball goes out on by-line, restart with keeper
- To score, all attacking players must be inside the attacking half.
Coaching Points:
- Encourage forward runs to
- Encourage crosses and cut backs depending ball position. It's important to promote timed attacking runs into the box. More people in the box, more opportunities to score.

Overloads 2 vs1 & 3 vs 2 (25 mins)
Focus Area:
- Working to create overloads
- Finishing
- Defensive Transition
Method:
- Red attacks 2 vs 1 towards green and looks to score.
- After the ball is dead, the Red transition to defence and the single green defender in the first phase joins two new players in the second phase to create a 3 vs 2 overload.
- The attackers start with the ball in the first phase and the goalkeeper players out the ball to the attackers in the second phase.
Variations:
1) No rules first, no offsides, goalkeeper plays ball out on the ground
2) Offsides and keeper can throw/kick the ball high to test first touch.
Teaching points:
- Use width of available area
- Overlapping/Underlapping forward runs
- If out wide, can a cross be an option?
